I needed a smaller piece of Granite to replace the Glass on a Stand to put an Idol on it and Angelo was extremely nice and patient to show me all the options and show me the differences between each. He was able to cut it to the size I wanted promptly. It looked great once cut and edged on the sides and it fit perfectly on the stand I had and now the whole setup looks absolutely gorgeous. Excellent fabricator!

I know Angelo’s Marble & Granite (of Bridgeport, CT) from Urban Stone recommendation.  After talking to Angelo, I had a chance to see his work in one of the newly built luxury homes in Westport which is not far from my house. From seeing his work there, I was certain that he would do a great job for me. I could always reach him during our process.  Though his company is not a big one, I knew that I would get good craftsmanship when the owner of the company does the fabrication and installation by himself. The price is very competitive. Angelo did not charge me for sink cutting. He also did the removal and disposal of my old counter top for almost half the price the other company quoted me. I ended up saving a lot of money. He helped me put my electrical cord back to my counter top.  I could not be sure if I used the big fancy company whether their employee would connect my electrical cord back to my new counter top or not. Angelo even went to Urban Stone to help me chose my granite slabs at my request. Just to make sure that they are good slabs and not a lot of porous areas on the granite.

Angelo is very professional, knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. He always listened to my concern.  He did a great installation. I am very pleased with his work.  He came back to me the next day and gave me a nice granite cutting board. Now I can just put the cutting board on my granite counter top.  It was a pleasant process from the start to the end.

We hired Angelo’s Marble & Granite to work on our kitchen counters on the advice of our contractor who knows the owner and told us that while the company opened this year, the owner has been working his all life in stone fabrication and knows what he’s doing, and that since the company is small, cost saving to the customer would be quite significant. He was right… Angel, the owner, made the process quite simple, as simple as 1-2-3, really. Step 1: He came to our place to take measurements and make a template. Step 2: He sent us to a local granite supplier so we could pick and reserve the slab we wanted. Step 3: He fabricated, installed and sealed our kitchen counters. The whole process was painless and relatively fast (a couple of weeks from start to finish), and the result is spectacular (I wish I had taken “before” pictures). What we particularly liked is Angelo’s all-inclusive price structure. With most companies, the advertised price includes material only. Then, they add extra for fabrication, edges, cutouts (e.g. the hole for skink, faucets, etc.), installation, sealing, etc. In the end, your bill is much higher than the advertised price (a little like cell phone companies). With Angelo’s, everything was included. We knew when we picked our granite what the bill would look like. No surprise. We also liked picking our granite through a supplier because there’s much more choice that at any workshop. We picked several options (the supplier doesn’t give you a price, but tell you which stones are less and more expensive) and had Angel give us three quotes. We ended up picking one of the most expensive stones because we liked it so much. We also liked that the granite is over an inch thick; not thin like the one used by some companies (which is cheaper but breaks easily). In the end, we got the luxury countertops we wanted at half the price we budgeted for when we started asking for quotes. As a “bonus”, there was some leftover material, and Angel offered to do shelves for a niche in the wall and window framing. We would never have thought of it, but it completes the look quite nicely and we’re happy we paid a little more for it. Next year, we’ll have an island made with the same material. And we’ll call Angelo’s Marble & Granite for the job! – An Angie’s List customer

He was able to procure the granite slabs that we selected from a wholesaler and he worked with us to determine the best way to cut the slabs to highlight the most desirable parts of the stone. Communication was excellent throughout the process and the craftsmanship in the finished product is excellent. Goes above and beyond to make sure the outcome is perfect. Wonderful workmanship, pride in details, beautiful work. I purchased a home and installed a new kitchen island so I decided to replace all the counter tops in my kitchen. I needed someone to come do the job promptly because my cook top was going to be in the island and without the counter top I had no way to cook. I called several people who told me it would be a 3–5 week process then I came across Angelo’s. I met with him at his shop on a Saturday. He didn’t have exactly what I was looking for in stock so he sent me to a huge distributor about 3 minutes away from him. My wife and I picked out what we wanted and called Angelo. He came to our home that Monday to do a template and 1 week later everything is installed and the price was very reasonable.
